Welcoming Barbara Barr as Executive Producer

I am thrilled to announce that award-winning journalist Barbara Barr has joined The Space Between as Executive Producer.

Barbara’s decades of experience reporting on politics, communities, and the human stories behind the headlines make her the perfect partner for this film. She has interviewed presidents, covered historic elections, reported from around the world, and earned national recognition — including the Walter Cronkite Award.

But beyond her résumé and Emmy award, Barbara brings something even more meaningful: a deep belief that storytelling can bring people together, even in divided times. Her passion for meaningful journalism is already shaping this film in powerful ways, and I am grateful to have her with us.

Where We Are Now

Right now, The Space Between is entering its final production and planning stages.

That means:
• finishing key interviews
• organizing remaining shoots
• preparing the edit
• planning outreach & audience engagement
• building community around the film

The heart of this film has always been simple:

Are we as divided as we’ve been told?
Or is there more space — more humanity — between us than we realize?

Every interview, every conversation, and every mile traveled for this film has brought me closer to the same truth: we are more alike than we think. And when we sit down, listen, and stay curious, something shifts.
